As we get closer and closer to Christmas the holiday movies are starting to take over the TV schedule. I am a sucker for a good Christmas movie and will watch certain ones every single time they are on TV. But what are the best of the best when it comes to Christmas movies?

Everyone has an opinion when it comes to what their favorite Christmas movie of all time is. This is just one list I found and again it's just someone's opinion.

10. Bad Santa: While it's a funny Christmas movie, it definitely isn't family friendly!

Bad Santa Official Trailer #1 - (2003) HD

But mostly, he's a con man who robs department stores on Christmas Eve with the help of his little person elf, Marcus (Tony Cox).

9. Love Actually: I've never seen this one. It features an all-star cast that includes Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, and Hugh Grant. We follow eight couples one month before Christmas. Be sure to grab the tissues for this one.

we have a great new channel for horror/sci-fi fans: http://bit.ly/getmehorror -------------------------------- Yeah, it's those British Xmas comedy-romance films that just make the perfect choice for a private screening at home.

8. Home Alone: I remember seeing this movie multiple times over the holidays the year it came out. This is definitely one of those movies I will watch a few times a year.

7. Trading Places: They call this a movie for the Grinch in all of us!

6. Elf: Another movie I love to watch! Will Ferrell was perfect for the role of Buddy the Elf!

5. Scrooged: a 1980s retelling of “A Christmas Carol” with Murray playing a TV executive who's haunted by three spirits on Christmas Eve.

Scrooged - Trailer

High-spirited high jinks on Christmas Eve put Frank Cross (Bill Murray) in a ghostly time warp in this hilarious take-off of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

4. Die Hard...??!?!?!?  They were talking about this movie as one of the best Christmas movies on WCCCB's Rising this morning. How can a movie where people die be considered one of the best Christmas movies?

Die Hard - Official® Trailer [HD]

Release Date: July 15, 1988 Bruce Willis stars as New York City detective John McClane, newly arrived in Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged wife. But as McClane waits for his wife's office party to break up, terrorists take control of the building.

3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation: Yes! Yes! Yes! It's not ofiicially Christmas until I have seen this movie at least one time!!!

Typical of the Griswold's, however, is the disaster that results.

2. A Christmas Story: In case you didn't know, TBS plays this movie for 24 hours Christmas eve into Christmas Day! I may watch it 2-3 times while it's playing during the marathon.

1. It's A Wonderful Life: Of course this 1946 classic topped the list!

It's A Wonderful Life - Trailer

George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all -- and it's Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence.

I am surprised that Miracle on 34th Street didn't make the list. I would think that movie would rate higher than Die Hard...
